"Pause For a Moment" was inspired by a family day trip exploring the backroads and shorelines around Six Mile Lake and Honey Harbour. The calm water and quiet beauty of Ontario’s cottage country stayed with me long after we left. Whenever we have the chance we are out exploring the beautiful shorelines around our home in Muskoka.  This gem of a spot along the Georgian Bay shores caught my eye and became one of my favourite paintings.  Sold through the Paula White Diamond Gallery during a show, I'm happy to now offer this lakeshore painting as a print.

Every time that I am out driving around my hometown in Muskoka, I am constantly looking for beautiful views to paint.  This little Muskoka island is just past Port Carling along Highway 118 on Henshaw Lake and it has called to me every time I drove past it.  I decided to paint this sweet island and also make it into a print so that you can bring a little of the outdoors home with you!

Taken from a wonderful afternoon kayaking along the Muskoka River with my family, this print will remind you of summer days on the water.  The scent of pines, peaceful reflections on sun-glistening water and time in nature.
